Edible at 16 degrees Fahrenheit: CocoNutz Fuel

We had the Frozen Hog event this last Saturday, and let me tell you, it lived up to the "Frozen" aspect. 16 degrees Fahrenheit at the start and surprisingly (or not surprisingly due to the awesomeness of CocoNutz Fuel) the balls were still very edible even with those sub-freezing temperatures.

The event was a blast and the race was fun as well. Ultimately, we were able to continue to get the word out about CocoNutz Fuel and have a good time doing it.

First promotional event

I have already been a slacker on the blog! I have yet to announce our official launch, so for the one or two people who may have stumbled onto this blog not from our website, we are finally live at www.coconutzfuel.com!

Now on to the main subject of the post. CocoNutz Fuel had its first promotional event today in Herriman, UT--an indoor triathlon. The weather outside was cold and snowy, but there was plenty of energy inside as competitors sped through the swim, stationary bike ride, then a final run around the track. We were there to promote CocoNutz Fuel and got a really great reception. Plenty of people enjoyed trying our energy balls and we made several sales as well.

I feel like the word of mouth approach will be the best method for getting CocoNutz Fuel out to the masses. Once people try it, they are generally impressed with the taste, delivery system, and bite-size nature of the product. Yay for us!

We'll keep plugging along on our end to make sure as many people will be able to Go BALListic on their exercise as possible!

"Soft Launch"

Well, after months of working through issue after issue getting the manufacturing, packaging, processing, etc. of CocoNutz Fuel completed, I can gladly say that we can "soft launch." What exactly is a "soft launch" do you ask? Well, our website and e-commerce store are not quite completed, so we're focusing on selling to locals and those people who have already sampled the product.

It's a great step in getting CocoNutz Fuel to the masses. We're excited for the next step of pushing the product through our online channel.

Fueling in a Freeze

Just got back from a two hour mountain bike ride. Average temperature was 32 degrees Fahrenheit. In case you're wondering, yes, it is fully possible to get CocoNutz Fuel out of the tube one-handed while wearing heavy winter gloves. The CocoNutz themselves also stayed pretty soft considering it was freezing outside.
